RomaRo Rayα Iron

There are three series within Romaro, and Rayα is a series for those with slower head speeds. The previous work was released in 2019, so this is the first brush-up in 7 years.

This Rayα series is particular about its titanium face. The face of the iron is also made of titanium. Titanium is a hard material with a light specific gravity, but it is more expensive than stainless steel or soft iron.

The face is made of hard titanium, and the body is made of stainless steel, which has a specific gravity similar to soft iron but is softer than titanium.
The joint between the face and body has a special structure, and the entire face absorbs the impact and pushes it back at the time of impact, giving it a softer feel than you would expect from a titanium face, and the strong loft generates a lot of backspin, making it easier for the ball to stop on the green.

Sold as a set of 4 of either #7-PW or #8-AW.
#5,#6,#7,AW,SW can be ordered individually.

The loft difference between AW (48°), SW (59°) and PW is large.
If you want to set up your wedge with good loft spacing, choose the Romaro Ray SX-R Light wedge. This is a wedge with a good head weight.
