RomaRo Rayα Utility

RomaRo offers three distinct product series, with the "Ray α" line specifically designed for golfers with slower swing speeds. This latest iteration arrives seven years after the previous model (released in 2019), featuring a comprehensive update.

Having long specialized in stainless steel utility clubs, RomaRo has now introduced a utility club featuring a full-fledged titanium body. The face, crown, and neck area are crafted as a single, integrated titanium component, while the sole—made of stainless steel, which has a higher specific gravity than titanium—is bonded to the body through a pressure-forging process. RomaRo’s choice of a stainless steel sole is intentional; unlike designs that rely on adjustable weight screws—which tend to concentrate weight in a single, localized area—the α utility utilizes a stainless steel sole with an optimized weight distribution, enhancing its performance to that of a fairway wood. This full-titanium utility club also features a larger head size than previous RomaRo utility models.

Core System
A spherical weight is positioned low and toward the rear inside the clubhead. At impact, this provides an additional force from behind the ball, boosting its forward propulsion.

This design is engineered to compensate for a lack of forward-driving force at impact—whether caused by insufficient swing speed or a club that is too lightweight.

It incorporates the "Core System"—the same technology found in the Ray α driver—adapted through a specialized structural design.

By using lightweight titanium in a utility club—which has a smaller volume than a driver or fairway wood—the design generates "surplus" weight. This weight can then be strategically redistributed within the head, achieving a weight configuration that would be impossible with other materials.

This utility club enables greater distance through a combination of optimal launch height and high face-rebound performance.

For golfers with faster swing speeds or those who prioritize precise ball control, we recommend considering the RomaRo "Type R" series.


To prioritize weight reduction and the core system, a sleeve socket has not been included. Features a fixed sleeve.
