RomaRo Rayα Fairwaywood

RomaRo offers three distinct product series, with the "Ray α" line designed specifically for golfers with slower swing speeds. This latest iteration marks a significant update—the first in seven years since the previous model’s release in 2019.

While RomaRo has traditionally focused on stainless steel fairway woods, they have now introduced a full-fledged titanium-bodied fairway wood. The face, crown, and neck area are crafted as a single, integrated titanium component, while the sole—made of stainless steel, which has a higher specific gravity than titanium—is bonded to the body through a precision-forging process.
RomaRo’s choice of a stainless steel sole eliminates the need for adjustable weight screws. While weight screws offer convenience, they tend to concentrate mass in a single, localized area; the α fairway wood, by contrast, features a stainless steel sole with an optimized weight distribution, thereby enhancing the club's overall performance.

This full-titanium fairway wood boasts a larger head size than previous RomaRo models.

Core System
A spherical weight is positioned low and toward the rear of the clubhead. At impact, this design exerts force from the back of the club, boosting the ball's forward momentum.

The clubhead is engineered to compensate for a lack of forward-driving force at impact—a common issue for golfers who may have insufficient swing speeds or who use clubs that are too lightweight.
This "Core System"—also featured in the Ray α driver—has been adapted here through a specialized structural design.

The club features a shallow face and a low center of gravity, making it easy to launch the ball into the air.
The head shape is designed to facilitate a level swing, allowing the sole to glide across the turf and helping to minimize the impact of mishits.

A notable feature of the 2026 Ray α fairway wood is its extensive range of available lofts:
• A wide selection of clubs: FW3, FW4, FW5, FW6, FW7, and FW8.
• The FW5, FW6, FW7, and FW8 models all share the same 200cc head volume.
This offers golfers a high degree of flexibility in building their set.

To prioritize weight reduction and the core system, a sleeve socket has not been incorporated. The sleeve is fully fixed.
