ITOBORI Half Cavity Irons

These irons were modeled for export, and are entirely made in Japan. Each iron is forged in Himeji and brought to MTG's Aichi location for meticulous polishing. Its distinctive feature is the rugged, low-club grind that runs from the back of the neck to the sole. The head design is a premium half-cavity. The neck is about 3mm shorter than a muscleback, further lowering the head's center of gravity. The top blade is about 2mm thicker. While the face of a muscleback is more grippy, this half-cavity model features a crescent-shaped toe that's symmetrical from top to bottom, creating a more natural look. Please specify the desired finish (plating). This is a made-to-order product, so please allow approximately one month for the head to be completed after your order is placed, and a 5-6 week lead time for completion.

The loft angle, lie angle, and head weight can be specified within the range of a half club. Please let us know if you have any requests when placing your order.
